Germany’s schools and universities have to promote their master-degree programs in more effective ways. Demographic change and increasing international competition are asking for new marketing and PR strategies.
Alumnis of bachelor programs are having a hard time finding the fitting master programs. The websites of many schools offer low transparency – even cafeteria plans are easier to find than the content of the courses. Also a presentation of the school location and its attractions is missing in most cases. Websites remind of public authorities, but not the future of a students education.
With the Bologna Process and the Europe-wide implementation of bachelor and master programs schools need a more professional and targeted approach in order to reach students.
